The Canny Crusdaers Project

The Canny Crusaders 1st crusade was a big success this morning! A mile and a half run plus 2 hours gardening and providing some riveting chat for some elderly members of our community!

Project overview - Bewitch the Mind and Ensnare the Senses’ project

We are the ‘Bewitch the Mind and Ensnare the Senses’ project! Our project focuses on learning about Special Educational Needs. We will be creating a story book for children at a Profound and Multiple Needs Special School in Newcastle. The book will have sensory objects, so children can feel, hear, smell and see the story. We are also learning Makaton (children’s sign language) to go with it. We have been tasked with creating a story about Islam, specifically Ramadan. This means our students will learn about the religion and festival before creating an age-appropriate story. They will then go into the school and teach their story to the children.
