The Students in the Fantasy Book Writing Project followed on their "Book club" discussion about the qualities of their favourites book with a concrete negotiation with their teacher to establish a list of "must haves" in their book. This is the very start point of establishing an assessment rubric. It's strength lies in the understanding of what the students are now expecting to do, it is "their" criteria and will help them produce writing of quality. Follow the 40+ projects taking place between 16th and 26th June, with teacher and student reflections and drafts of student work. Exhibition Day Saturday 27th June 10am-2pm.
